Iran asserts Lebanon's self-sufficiency in defence No troops planned for Hezbollah support

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani has declared that Iran has no intention of deploying troops to assist the Shiite movement Hezbollah, emphasizing Lebanon's capability to defend its interests independently.

Kanaani affirmed, “Governments, countries, and all peoples of the region, including those in Lebanon and Palestine, possess all the necessary capabilities to protect themselves against the aggression of the Zionist regime,” Caliber.Az reports via Russian media.

He noted that Lebanon has demonstrated its ability to confront and defeat Israeli occupation without external military support.
