Iran briefs Saudi Arabia on latest round of US nuclear talks
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi held a telephone conversation with his Saudi counterpart, Faisal bin Farhan, to discuss the latest developments in nuclear negotiations between Iran and the United States.
During the call, the two top diplomats reviewed bilateral relations and exchanged views on the current trajectory of the Iran–US talks concerning Tehran’s nuclear program, Mehr News Agency reports.
Araghchi briefed the Saudi foreign minister on the most recent developments in the negotiations, outlining the progress made in the latest rounds of discussions.
For his part, Faisal bin Farhan expressed hope that the talks between Iran and the United States would continue until a positive outcome is achieved.
The first round of indirect negotiations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States was held in Oman. The second round took place on February 16, at the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Geneva.
