Iran categorically rejects temporary ceasefire proposal

Iran has categorically rejected the idea of a temporary ceasefire, the country’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Amir Saeid Iravani has stated, according to Reuters.

“When hostilities resume under false pretext, a ceasefire in this context serves only to rearm and prepare for the continuation of further crimes,” the diplomat said.
