Iran claims destruction of US military aircrafts worth $2.4 billion

Iran has published a list of U.S. military aircraft that it claims have been destroyed or damaged since the onset of the ongoing war.

The report, released by the Iranian news agency Mehr, outlines a series of significant losses to the U.S. Air Force, totaling an estimated value of $2.4 billion.

According to the Iranian military, 43 U.S. Air Force aircraft have been shot down, with notable casualties including four F-15E fighter jets and one F-35 fighter jet, which was reportedly rendered inoperable. In addition, two MC-130J Commando II transport planes were claimed to have been destroyed. The report also details the downing of eight KC-135 tanker aircraft, nine helicopters, and 17 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).
