Iran claims strike on US base in Kuwait as "retaliatory operation"

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it had carried out a strike on a US military base in Kuwait.

The attack was conducted as part of what the IRGC described as another "retaliatory operation," Caliber.Az reports, Iranian media.

The IRGC claimed that two HIMARS rocket launchers prepared for use were destroyed in the strike.

Iranian sources also reported the downing of a US drone near the southern Iranian port city of Bandar Abbas.

In addition, reports said Iran carried out strikes overnight against targets in Bahrain and Jordan.
