Iran confirms death of Chief of Army Staff Mousavi

Iran has confirmed the death of the Chief of Staff of the Islamic Republic’s Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdolrahim Mousavi, according to the IRNA news agency.

In addition, a senior official of Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence, Mohammad Baseri, was killed as a result of the U.S. and Israeli airstrike on Tehran, reports the Iranian agency ISNA.
