Iran confirms missile strike on Israel, calls it a warning

Mohsen Rezaee, a member of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, confirmed the launch of missiles toward Israeli territory, stating that it was a response to ongoing Israeli strikes on Lebanon.

“The Islamic Republic of Iran had repeatedly declared that it would not tolerate violations of the ceasefire or aggression against Lebanon. Tonight, the aggressors received their response. This response is a warning for them to cease their villainy; every new action will be met with a more crushing response and heavier costs,” Rezaee said.

According to available information, two missile volleys were launched, the first of which included four missiles.

The Israeli side claims that all launched missiles were intercepted by air defence systems.
