Iran fires super-heavy missiles at US, Israeli bases in 31st operation wave
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force has carried out the 31st wave of its “True Promise 4” operation, codenamed “Labbayk, Khamenei!”, targeting multiple US and Israeli military installations in the region.
The IRGC described the strikes as the first offensive operational step under the command of Iran’s Commander-in-Chief, Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei, Tasnim reports.
According to Statement No. 26 issued by the IRGC’s public relations office, the operation employed “super-heavy missiles,” including Qadr, Khorramshahr, and Kheibar Shekan, aimed at five strategic US bases, particularly facilities associated with the US Navy’s Fifth Fleet, as well as Israeli military positions in the Tel Aviv and Haifa areas.
The statement also noted that the IRGC Navy conducted a separate offensive targeting the US Al-Adiri helicopter base, using loitering drones and cruise missiles.
The IRGC characterized the operation as a “powerful continuation” of its campaign against American and Israeli positions, emphasizing that these measures are dedicated to the leadership of Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei. While details regarding the extent of damage or casualties were not disclosed, the statement stressed the continuation of operations without interruption.
Addressing the Iranian public, the IRGC Aerospace Command highlighted the importance of continued public support and national unity, asserting that such backing would strengthen the campaign and ensure the continuation of operations against perceived adversaries.
