Iran Foreign Ministry voice takes key role in Tehran’s negotiating team PHOTO

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has appointed Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei as the spokesperson for Iran’s negotiating team, ISNA reports.

The appointment comes amid ongoing diplomatic activity involving Tehran and follows Baghaei’s increasing public role in articulating Iran’s position on negotiations and regional developments.

The decision was formally signed by Ghalibaf, who currently heads Iran’s negotiating team. Baghaei, a veteran diplomat and current spokesperson for Iran’s Foreign Ministry, has previously served as Iran’s ambassador and permanent representative to the United Nations Office in Geneva.
