Iran: IRGC intelligence chief killed in US, Israeli strikes
Majid Khademi, head of intelligence of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), was killed on April 6 as a result of strikes by the United States and Israel.
The IRGC issued a statement reporting the “martyrdom of Major General Seyed Majid Khademi, a powerful and outstanding head of the IRGC Intelligence Directorate. This great commander, through nearly half a century of sincere and courageous service to the revolution, the regime, and the Islamic homeland, has left an exceptional, lasting, and instructive legacy in the field of intelligence and security, which can serve as a guiding example for the country’s intelligence community for many years—especially in countering external enemies and their insidious, malevolent plans to undermine the security and stability of Iran.”
