Iran issues urgent evacuation warning to residents in Iraqi Kurdistan Photo

Iran has issued an urgent warning to residents of Iraqi Kurdistan, advising them to stay away from six areas where it says “armed and terrorist groups” are based, according to a statement from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) press office.

The IRGC said Iranian forces plan to conduct operations against these groups in the coming hours and specifically advised civilians to avoid Jezhnikian, Surdash, the Harir base, Kuiya, Pakshar (Degle), and the Hebat district, Caliber.Az reports.

The statement emphasised that being near these locations could pose serious risks to civilians and strongly urged residents to take precautions to ensure their safety.
