Iran launches 65th missile, drone strike on Israel, US bases

Iran Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that it has carried out its 65th round of missile and drone strikes against Israel and US targets, hitting key infrastructure and military facilities across the region.

Targets included oil refineries in Ashdod and Haifa in Israel, as well as US military bases at Al-Harj in Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Isa in Bahrain, and Al-Dhafra in the United Arab Emirates, Iranian media reports.

In a statement cited by Iran’s state broadcaster, the IRGC said:

"The oil refineries in Haifa and Ashdod, some of the largest refining facilities of the Zionist regime, as well as several military bases of the regime in the area, were struck with guided missiles during the 65th phase of Operation True Promise – 4."

The IRGC added:

"Medium-range Qiam and Zolfaghar missiles accurately hit US targets and interests at the Al-Harj base—the main refueling point for F-16 and F-35 fighters and AWACS reconnaissance aircraft—at Sheikh Isa, which serves as a command centre, data processing hub, and combat management facility of the US forces, and at the Al-Dhafra base."
