Tehran shows first footage of 1.5-ton warhead missile firing

Iran released the first footage of its medium-range ballistic missile Khorramshahr-4, carrying a 1.5-ton warhead, showing the nighttime launch of two missiles, according to Telegram channel ImpNavigator.

The new missile in the Khorramshahr family was first unveiled in 2023, with an estimated range of 2,000 kilometres. 

It features a modern engine with fuel that can be stored in tanks for years, reducing launch preparation time. Its navigation system allows course adjustments outside the atmosphere.
