Iran launches new authority to oversee Strait of Hormuz operations

Iran has officially announced the establishment of a new body, the Persian Gulf Strait Affairs Authority (PGSA), which will oversee activities related to the Strait of Hormuz.

The agency has also launched an official account on the social media platform X, Iran’s Supreme National Security Council and the naval forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced on X, Caliber.Az reports.
