Iran lawmaker: Proposal targeting Trump to be “definitely” adopted
A member of Iran’s parliamentary Committee on Culture has said that the legislature is expected to approve a proposal to offer a reward to anyone who “carries out the clergy’s fatwa against US President Donald Trump,” once the initiative completes the required legal procedures.
Hassanali Akhlaghi-Amiri made the remarks in an interview with Didban Iran, stating that the proposal will “definitely” be adopted by parliament.
According to his statement, the measure is still subject to formal legal review processes before it can be finalised and approved by lawmakers.
Akhlaghi-Amiri’s comments come at a time when Iran’s parliament has been conducting its sessions online due to security considerations, rather than meeting in person.
