Iran MP issues stark warning in message to “owners of glass palaces”

An Iranian lawmaker has issued a pointed warning directed at what he described as the “owners of glass palaces,” in a message published on social media.

Ebrahim Rezaei, spokesperson for the Iranian parliament’s Committee on National Security and Foreign Policy, made the statement on May 26 in a post on the platform X, according to Caliber.Az.

In his message, Rezaei wrote: “Address to the owners of glass palaces: prepare your shelters.”

The remark, brief but strongly worded, appeared to be directed at external actors, although Rezaei did not specify any country or individuals in the post. No additional explanation or context accompanied the statement.
