Iran neither sought nor seeks war, Pezeshkian tells Erdoğan
Iran has neither sought nor seeks war, President of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian said during a phone call with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Pezeshkian stated that the “illegal attack” had been carried out by the United States and Israel, Caliber.Az reports via Iranian media.
He also stressed the need to continue diplomatic efforts aimed at establishing peace and stability in the region.
Referring to recent developments and the achievement of an understanding to end the war, Pezeshkian said the agreement had been made possible through the efforts of Pakistan, Türkiye, and other Islamic countries in the region.
The Iranian leader noted that all parties should work to ensure Lebanon is included in the peace process and that Israel no longer has the right to carry out attacks on Lebanon and Palestine.
