Iran: Northern Israel would turn to "hell" if Beirut’s southern suburbs were attacked

Mohsen Rezaei, an adviser to Iran’s supreme leader, said Tehran was prepared to unleash missile strikes on northern Israel and turn the region into “hell” if enemy forces advanced toward Beirut’s southern suburbs, according to remarks broadcast on Iranian state television.

Rezaei said Iran’s missile forces had been placed on alert and were ready to respond in the event of an attack on areas of Lebanon considered strongholds of the Iran-backed group Hezbollah, Caliber.Az reports via Iranian media.

He also issued a warning to Gulf Arab states, saying Iran would not leave the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Kuwait “alone after the war” if they continued what he described as their current approach toward the conflict.
