Iran passenger train derails in Kerman, all safe Video
On August 8, a passenger train travelling from Tehran to Kerman derailed near Siriz station in Kerman Province, according to Iran’s railway authority.
In a statement, the public relations office of the Islamic Republic of Iran Railways said several carriages left the tracks shortly before reaching the station, but all passengers were unharmed, Caliber.Az reports per Iranian media.
Railway technical teams and emergency services arrived at the scene promptly, ensuring all passengers were safely evacuated from the train.
Replacement buses were arranged to continue the journey to Kerman, with passengers already en route to their destination.
Specialist engineers have been dispatched to determine the cause of the incident, with the findings to be announced once the investigation is complete.
