08 September 2025 13:14
Iran is preparing for a significant advancement in its space program, planning to launch three satellites — Kowsar, Zafar, and Paya — before the end of the Iranian year on March 20, 2026.
The upcoming satellite launches are intended to expand Iran’s capabilities in space technology, Caliber.Az reports, citing Iranian media.
Equipped with advanced imaging systems, the Kowsar satellite will provide high-resolution data for applications in agriculture, urban planning, and environmental monitoring.
The Zafar project, meaning “Victory,” is designed to improve communication networks, particularly in remote regions, while the Paya satellite will focus on weather monitoring and disaster preparedness.
