Iran prepares immediate response plan after US threats
Iran has instructed all operational levels of its armed forces to prepare a “plan for an immediate and comprehensive response” following recent threats from US President Donald Trump, according to a report by Nournews, a media outlet affiliated with Iran’s Supreme National Security Council. The report cited an informed military official.
“According to the issued directive, the slightest miscalculation or hostile action by the United States will be met with massive and simultaneous fire against a wide range of its interests and infrastructure in the region. Any minor aggressive action or miscalculation by the United States will be met with strong simultaneous fire against various targets and infrastructure. Targets that were not struck during the 40-day war for various reasons are now on the priority strike list. The plan has been developed taking into account seasonal and climatic factors, energy pressure, logistical bottlenecks, and regional and global weak points of the United States,” the official said.
The source added that certain limitations that had shaped earlier military planning have now been removed. Targets that were not engaged during the previous conflict have been elevated to operational priority under the new plan.
