Iran reaffirms commitment to diplomatic solution with US PHOTO

Iran remains committed to a diplomatic solution to its conflict with the United States, as continuing the war serves no one’s interests, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said 

During a meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Bishkek, Pezeshkian once again reaffirmed Iran’s position, Caliber.Az reports via Iranian media.

“Iran adheres to the commitments made under the agreements, but unfortunately, the American side has not fulfilled its obligations. Nevertheless, we remain committed to pursuing the path of agreement and mutual understanding and believe that continuing the war serves neither our interests, nor those of the region, nor those of all humanity,” the president’s press service quoted him as saying.

According to Pezeshkian, there are forces in the United States seeking further escalation between Tehran and Washington for their own benefit. Iran, in turn, believes it is necessary to pursue a peaceful path while strengthening stability and security in the Middle East.

Earlier, Barak Ravid, a correspondent for Axios and Israel’s Channel 12, reported that US forces struck two missile launchers on Iran’s Larak Island.
