Iran reports 1,937 dead in war with US and Israel

Iran has reported significant casualties from its ongoing conflict with the United States and Israel, with nearly 2,000 people killed, according to a senior health official.

Ali Jafarian, Iran’s Deputy Health Minister, said that at least 1,937 people have died in the war, including 240 women and 212 children. He provided the figures in a statement to Al Jazeera.

Jafarian added that more than 24,800 people have been injured since the fighting began. Among the wounded are approximately 4,000 women and 1,621 children, highlighting the scale of the humanitarian impact.
