US denies reports of USS Abraham Lincoln being hit by Iran UPDATED
The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) has denied reports that the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (USS Abraham Lincoln) was struck by Iranian missiles.
“Iran’s IRGC claims to have struck USS Abraham Lincoln with ballistic missiles. LIE. The Lincoln was not hit. The missiles launched didn’t even come close,” the Command wrote on X.
The USS Abraham Lincoln remains actively deploying aircraft as part of CENTCOM’s ongoing operations to protect the American people by targeting threats posed by the Iranian regime, it added.
