Masoud Zare, the commander of Iran’s Air Defence Academy, has been killed in what Iranian media are describing as “US-Israeli strikes” in the central city of Shahin Shahr.

Reports from Iran International on March 5 confirmed the death, citing local media sources.

Sources also indicated that Brigadier General Zare, who oversaw the management and training of elite personnel responsible for protecting Iranian airspace, was killed in the attacks.
