Iran’s Araghchi: No talks while Israeli attacks continue
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has stated that Tehran is unwilling to enter negotiations while Israeli military strikes continue, emphasising that no talks will take place under the current circumstances.
“We are not ready for any talks with any party in light of the continued Israeli attacks,” Araghchi said during an interview aired on Iranian state television on June 20, Caliber.Az reports via Euronews.
He also expressed confidence that, following Iran’s resistance to Israel, other countries would begin to distance themselves from what he described as "Israeli aggression".
"After our resistance to Israel, I believe countries will begin to distance themselves from this aggression,” he added.
Araghchi is scheduled to meet today, June 20, in Geneva with the foreign ministers of the UK, Germany, and France.
