Iran's Deputy FM to visit Armenia following diplomatic exchange
Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister, Majid Takht-Ravanchi, is set to visit Armenia following recent diplomatic discussions.
On September 13, Takht-Ravanchi announced his upcoming trip on social media platform X, sharing details of his conversation with Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister, Vahan Kostanyan, Caliber.Az reports.
In his post, Takht-Ravanchi stated, “I received a cordial phone call from Vahan Kostanyan, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia. I reiterated our strong commitment to enhancing relations with all our neighbours and emphasized our principled stance on the inviolability of international borders. I am pleased to accept his invitation to visit Yerevan.”
On the same day, Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan extended his congratulations to Takht-Ravanchi on his recent appointment. Kostanyan, also via X, noted, “We value Iran's support for Armenia’s territorial integrity. We discussed recent developments in this regard during our phone conversation.”
