Iran's envoy to Armenia: No state should have any claims to Zangazur

Iran's Ambassador to Armenia Abbas Badakhshan Zohouri has said that his country's relations with Armenia are a priority for Iran.

He made the remarks at a meeting with Armenian Prosecutor-General Anna Vardapetyan on November 22, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Armenian media.

The diplomat confirmed the importance of the Syunik region (meaning Azerbaijan's historical region of Zangazur - ed.) of Armenia for Iran and stressed that no state should have any claims to the Syunik region.
