Iran’s FM: Tehran rejected Washington’s demand of zero enrichment

Iranian Foreign Minister revealed that the US administration rejected Tehran’s compromise proposals on the nuclear issue from the very beginning of negotiations.

The report originates from Iran’s state news agency IRNA, as per Caliber.Az.

According to Minister Abbas Araghchi, Donald Trump’s team instead insisted on conditions that Iran considered impossible to meet.

“The US insisted on achieving a goal that we considered impossible, namely zero enrichment,” Araghchi said in an interview with the agency.

According to him, Iran “had several operational plans to reach a compromise.”
