Iran’s foreign minister arrives in Istanbul for key talks
Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi arrived in Istanbul on January 30 for a one-day visit aimed at strengthening bilateral ties and discussing regional and international developments.
He was formally welcomed by Turkish officials, including the regional director general of Türkiye’s Foreign Ministry, Mehr News Agency reports.
During his visit, Araghchi is scheduled to meet with his Turkish counterpart, Hakan Fidan, to discuss matters relating to bilateral relations, as well as broader regional and international issues.
In addition, the Iranian foreign minister is set to hold a meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, further emphasizing the high-level nature of the talks and the strategic importance of the visit.
