Iran's IRGC intelligence chief reportedly dismissed
Speculations over Iran’s IRGC intelligence chief's dismissal become real.
On June 23, various rumours began to circulate about the Chief of the Intelligence Organisation of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Hossein Taeb, who is considered one of the most mysterious and dangerous persons in Iranian politics, Caliber.Az reports, quoting the Telegram channel Azad Iran.
Among the society, the information circulated in the local media that he was removed from his post, or was injured during the assassination attempt and is currently in the hospital, caused a great resonance.
Confirmation of these rumours was not long in coming. It became known that he was indeed removed from his post and appointed as an adviser to the Commander-in-Chief of the IRGC intelligence. It is also noted that Mohammad Kazimi has been appointed to his place.
