Iran’s IRGC strikes US helicopter base in Kuwait
The Naval Forces of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) have carried out the 38th wave of the Operation True Promise-4, code-named “O Haydar Karrar,” Tasnim reports, citing IRGC Statement No. 31.
IRGC's press service said on Telegram that two simultaneous missile strikes targeted the Al-Adiri helicopter base in Kuwait, resulting in the deaths of multiple U.S. personnel, with over 100 injured and taken to Al-Jaber and Al-Mubarak hospitals in Kuwait.
Iranian missiles and drones also reportedly struck infrastructure at the U.S. base in Mina Salman Port, including the key Leeds system, which is part of the U.S. Fifth Fleet.
The statement emphasised that the IRGC’s objective remains the complete capitulation of the enemy, and the operation will continue until what they described as “the shadow of war is lifted from the country.”
