Iran's Khamenei threatens US with "irreparable damage" for potential military intervention
Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has praised the Iranian people's response to the recent attack by Israel and rejected what he described as foreign attempts to intimidate the nation through threats and coercion.
In a televised statement read out by a state television anchor, Khamenei did not appear in person but conveyed a message underscoring the resilience and determination of the Iranian people, Caliber.Az reports, citing Iranian media.
According to him, the “measured, courageous, and timely reaction” of Iranians was proof of their maturity, rationality, and spiritual resilience
“The Iranian people stand firm in the face of an imposed war—just as they will stand firm in the face of an imposed peace. This nation does not submit to any diktat,” Khamenei emphasised.
Commenting on recent threats from the US president, the Supreme Leader stated that “those who know Iran, its people, and its history will never speak to this nation in the language of threats.” He added that any military intervention by the United States “will inevitably lead to irreparable damage.”
