We reject any extension of the ceasefire.
We are prepared for a long war — the Americans are not.
This is merely a pause, not peace.

“We will maintain control of the Strait of Hormuz until all Iran’s rights are secured,” Zolfaghari stated.
He further added that Iran rejects any extension of the ceasefire regime, stressing that the current situation should not be interpreted as a peace settlement.
“We are prepared for a long war — the Americans are not,” he said, describing the current pause in hostilities as temporary.
“This is merely a pause, not peace,” Zolfaghari added, warning that any ground invasion of Iran would “fail completely.”
