Iran's overnight missile strikes leave 287 Israelis hospitalised, one dead - Health Ministry
In the aftermath of a large-scale missile assault launched from Iran on the night of June 5 to 16, the Israeli Ministry of Health has confirmed that 287 individuals were hospitalised overnight across the country, as strikes targeted central and northern regions.
Among the injured, one person is in serious condition and 14 sustained moderate injuries, including two children who are being treated at Schneider Children’s Hospital in Petah Tikvah. The majority of those hospitalised are suffering from light injuries or acute shock, according to health officials, Caliber.Az writes, citing Israeli media.
A deadly strike hit the town of Bnei Brak, just east of Tel Aviv, where one fatality was reported. Fifteen people were taken to Maayanei Hayeshua Medical Center in the town, though their conditions have not yet been disclosed by the ministry.
The attacks, part of the confrontation that escalated between Israel and Iran on June 13, marked one of the most intense barrages in recent memory, prompting nationwide emergency responses and triggering air raid sirens throughout the night.
