Iran’s Pezeshkian warns of “decisive” response to any attack

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian warned that Iran does not seek war but would respond “decisively” to any attack, according to Iran International.

“We are not seeking war, and this is a clear message we have conveyed to the world,” Pezeshkian said. “But we will never sit quietly in the face of any aggression and will respond decisively to the aggressors.”

He stressed that instability and unrest in the region would benefit no country and instead create challenges for everyone.

Pezeshkian made the remarks as he departed Tehran for Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, to attend a summit of leaders of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO).
