Iran's president keeps close eye on Islamic council elections amid ongoing crisis

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian visited the Ministry of Interior to assess the progress of elections for Islamic councils nationwide, Tasnim reports.

During the visit, the president reviewed the latest voting updates from all 31 provinces.

According to Tabatabai, deputy head of the presidential administration, Pezeshkian issued directives aimed at ensuring effective governance amid the ongoing conflict and addressing the needs of the population.
