Iran's president unveils measures to support economy, population Amid war with Israel
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian announced the adoption of a package of measures aimed at strengthening the country’s economic resilience and supporting the population.
“Our priority has always been the well-being of the people. A package of measures has been announced to strengthen economic resilience in order to ensure the supply of food, medicine, and essential goods, as well as to extend deadlines for fulfilling banking obligations,” he wrote on X, per Caliber.Az.

He also noted that the authorities intend to support producers and simplify the import of essential goods.
Pezeshkian also thanked Mohammad-Reza Aref for his leadership and highlighted the work of four government task forces involved in preparing and implementing these measures.
