Iran's supreme leader calls on Muslim countries to unite against US, Israel
All Muslim countries should unite in the face of a common enemy — the United States and Israel — and oppose their plans, Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei stated.
“My strong and repeated advice to the rulers of Islamic countries, especially the countries of the West Asia and Persian Gulf regions, is to recognize their real enemy, understand its plans and stand up to it. The criminal rulers of the United States and the fake Zionist regime are sworn enemies of this [Muslim] unity and friendship,” he stressed in a written message marking Iran’s Unity Week.
Khamenei said the United States and Israel are waging war not only against Iran and its allies in the region, but against all Muslims, “including the peoples of West Asia and North Africa.”
In his previous address to Iranians, Khamenei called on the population to mobilize domestic resources to mitigate the consequences of the economic war declared by the United States against the Islamic Republic.
