Iran’s Supreme Leader declares Israel is paying price for its grave mistake
Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has issued a stark warning amid escalating conflict in the Middle East, asserting that Israel is facing consequences for its actions.
“The Zionist enemy has made a grave mistake, committed a major crime; it must be punished — and it is being punished. Even now, it is being punished,” Caliber.Az quotes Khamenei as saying.

To recall, tensions in the Middle East surged after the US bombed key Iranian nuclear facilities. In retaliation, Iran launched two waves of missile attacks on Israel.
On June 22, Iran fired 27 missiles targeting Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv, research centres, and military command posts, according to Iranian state media.
Air raid sirens sounded across Israel, sending millions to bomb shelters as explosions and missile interceptions were reported over Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Haifa, and other areas.
At least 20 people were injured, Israeli emergency services said.
The strikes hit ten sites from the Golan Heights to northern and central Israel, with “extensive damage” especially around Tel Aviv and Haifa, Odeh added.
