Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei holds talks with President Pezeshkian

Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei held a meeting with President Masoud Pezeshkian, during which the two discussed military and economic issues, Khamenei said in a post on X.

“A meeting was held between Pezeshkian, who is entering the third year of his presidency, and the Supreme Leader, during which the country’s economic and military issues were discussed,” the post read.

The talks addressed Iran’s key challenges, including meeting the needs of the population. The sides also held an in-depth exchange of views on the current wartime situation, future prospects, the development of the defense and energy sectors, ways to secure foreign currency reserves, expenditure management, and international economic cooperation.
