Iran’s Supreme Leader pledges continued backing for Hezbollah

Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has reaffirmed Tehran’s support for Hezbollah, pledging continued backing for the group and its leadership in a letter published through his official Telegram channel, according to Caliber.Az.

The letter, dated two days prior to its publication, emphasises what Khamenei describes as “resistance and steadfastness” in the confrontation with the United States and Israel. It also states that Iran’s policy “is based on continuous support for the resistance.”

Khamenei expressed confidence in Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem, saying he is capable of “thwarting the plans of the Zionist enemy” and restoring “peace and pride” to Lebanon.
