Iran’s supreme leader reaffirms resistance against US, Israel

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei has reaffirmed Tehran’s commitment to supporting armed groups opposing the United States and Israel, in a statement posted on social media platform X.

In the post, Khamenei described this policy as a continuation of the path set by Imam Khomeini and the late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, emphasising that backing what he called the “Resistance” against the “Zionist‑US enemy” remains a central element of Iran’s foreign policy, Caliber.Az reports. 

I emphatically declare that the consistent policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, following on the path of Imam Khomeini and the martyred Leader, is to continue supporting the Resistance against the Zionist-US enemy.
