Iran says 20 ships passed through Strait of Hormuz in 24 hours

Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has stated that 20 vessels transited the Strait of Hormuz over the past 24 hours.

According to Al Jazeera, which cited the IRGC, the movement of these ships was organised and carried out under the supervision of Iranian units tasked with controlling traffic in the strategically vital waterway.

The IRGC emphasised that its forces actively monitored and escorted maritime traffic through the corridor, underscoring Iran’s role in overseeing navigation in one of the world’s most critical shipping routes.
