Iran says missile arsenal sufficient for prolonged war

Iran will not face shortages of missiles or other strategic materials even if the regional conflict continues for years, a senior Iranian lawmaker said.

Alaeddin Boroujerdi, a member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of Iran’s Majlis, made the remarks in comments reported by Al Mayadeen.

“If the war lasts months or years, Iran will not face problems related to its missile arsenal and strategic capabilities,” Boroujerdi said.

He added that, in his assessment, “having faced [Iran’s] defence capabilities, the enemy has been defeated, despite its modern weaponry.”
