Iran says no talks held with IAEA on new nuclear inspections
Iran has not held discussions with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Bürgenstock, Switzerland, regarding new inspections of its nuclear facilities, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said.
“We did not have meetings with IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi, nor did we discuss any new inspections by the agency, especially regarding those facilities that were damaged in strikes by the United States and Israel,” Baghaei told a briefing, TASS reports.
He also stated that Iranian authorities would be able to manage unfrozen assets at their own discretion, depending on the country’s needs, adding that no restrictions had been imposed in this regard.
Baghaei further reiterated that Iran’s missile program is not part of negotiations between Tehran and Washington.
