Iran says “punishment” of US, Israel ongoing, claims multiple defeats
Brigadier General Reza Talaei-Nik, spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Defence, said that “the punishment of the US-Israeli enemy continues,” asserting that adversaries have suffered defeats across multiple fronts.
According to Talaei-Nik, the United States and Israel have failed in seven key areas, particularly in their efforts to destabilize Iran, Mehr News Agency reports.
He stated that these setbacks include attempts to collapse the Islamic Republic, weaken the Armed Forces, create divisions within national governance, incite internal unrest, gain control over the strategic Strait of Hormuz, and undermine public commitment to resistance and defence efforts.
The spokesperson added that Iran’s “offensive defence,” carried out by its armed forces, the public, and what he described as the Resistance Front, remains active and continues to target five additional fronts.
Talaei-Nik also stressed that “the martyrdom of commanders, officials, and individuals only strengthens the resolve of the Iranian people against the enemy,” underscoring what he portrayed as growing national resilience in the face of external pressure.
