Iran says US strikes undermine ceasefire agreement

Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has stated that recent US strikes on Iranian territory “effectively render meaningless” the ceasefire agreement reached between the parties.

Sharing a post on Telegram, he condemned what it described as “criminal attacks” by the United States, calling them a gross violation of the UN Charter and international law, Caliber.Az reports.

Tehran also warned regional countries against allowing their territory to be used for attacks against Iran.

The statement stressed that Washington’s actions jeopardise prospects for de-escalation and undermine previously reached agreements between the sides.
