Iran sees increase in non-oil exports to Azerbaijan

In the first 10 months of the current Iranian year (March 20, 2024 - January 19, 2025), Iranian non-oil exports to Azerbaijan increased by 14.7% in value and weight terms compared to the same period last year (March 21, 2023 - January 20, 2024).

The statistics say that in the first 10 months of the current Iranian year (March 20, 2024 - January 19, 2024), Iran exported about 728,000 tons of non-oil products to Azerbaijan worth about $573 million, Caliber.Az reports via the statistics of the Iranian Customs Administration.

In the first 10 months of the previous Iranian year (March 21, 2023 - January 20, 2024), Iranian non-oil exports to Azerbaijan amounted to 634,000 tons worth $499 million.

Iran exported mainly agricultural and food, industrial, petrochemical and chemical products to Azerbaijan.

During the specified period, the trade turnover between Iran and Azerbaijan amounted to 738 thousand tons worth $600 million.

The statistics of the Iranian Customs Administration said that in the first 10 months of the current Iranian year, Iran's export of non-oil products amounted to 127 million tons worth about $47.8 billion. In 9 months, Iran's export of non-oil products increased by 18% in value terms and by 12% in weight terms compared to the same period last year.
