Iran seizes tanker accused of disrupting oil exports VIDEO
Iran’s navy has seized a tanker identified as Ocean Koi, accusing it of attempting to disrupt the country’s oil exports and damage national interests.
The incident was reported on Friday, May 8, by Tasnim News Agency, which said the vessel was captured during what authorities described as a “special operation” conducted by Iranian naval special forces.
According to the report, the tanker was targeted on allegations that it had been involved in efforts to interfere with Iran’s oil export activities, a key sector of the country’s economy.
Iranian officials have not released further details about the operation. The initial announcement did not specify the ship’s flag, ownership, crew, or the precise location where the seizure took place.
